We see the crowned sword, being guided by Divine Providence and Timing. This card comes into our lives when it is time to cut away all that no longer serves our growths. In the garden we prune and trim to allow our plants to bring forth their best - we must also be willing to release all that doesn't serve us so that we can produce the best we are capable of. "By its fruits it shall be known".. Accept this period of change and progress with grace and gratitude. Allow all that is no longer serving you to be removed so that you can reach your fullest potential.

1st Position:
A fresh start, but also struggle. Tension and anxiety related to interpersonal communications. Constuction / Building New Foundations Taking action on ideas, Resolution of old matters so new directions can emerge.

2nd Position:
You are wanting recognition and attention in your current endeavors. A period of wanting to prove yourself, or establish a stronger sense of self-worth.

3rd Position:
Tendency to be overemotional and reactive. The tendency here is to base your sense of self worth on the feelings of others. Fear of failure and incorrect decisions weigh heavily on you. Now is a time to not let your heart rule your head. Use good logic and reasoning.

4th Position:
You need to understand the value of your own worth and talents regardless of the opinions of others. Others opinions are not necessary for you to have an inner sense of knowing. Inner peace comes from solitary satisfaction. Don't let others cause you to sway from your ideals. Be willing to put your ideas to the test, and cut away that which no longer serves your growth.

5th Position:
Perserverance is key for you right now. Time to be utterly Self-reliant. Now is a time you will have to rely on your inner guidance and sense of Self to make peace with the situation. Be willing to work towards positive change, even if it is uncomfortable at first. Sometimes we have to reach beyond comfort zones to find our true calling.
