Tarot Wisdom: The Eight of Wands (Staffs)
Here we see the many wands flying - an indication of a lot of activity. In the midst of chaos it is necessary to plan carefully, prioritize and narrow things down. Too much activity can cause us to miss something important. This is a great card that teaches us about multi-tasking effectively - without becoming sloppy or too scattered to be effective. This card can also indicate the mind - when our mind becomes too cluttered, too busy.. we miss out on the wisdom of the Divine guidance - that voice that only speaks to us softly in the silence. Make time for moments of silence in your busy days and you will find your path much easier to manage.

  • 2nd Position:

  • 3rd Position:

Complications come with trying to do too many things at one time. Feeling pressure may compel you to make hasty decisions. Indication that you may stay busy to keep from facing some inner pain..You fear that if you aren't "busy" enough you aren't making progress.

  • 4th Position:

Relax and know that what is needed will be provided to you. Slow down the pace and make careful decisions now. Mistakes can be costly when they are the result of quick responses and not well planned decisions or actions. Reestablish your priorities, and focus only on your most important goals. Narrowing things down will allow you to give your best where it is most important.

  • 5th Position:

Don't be afraid to ask for support or to move away from areas that aren't in need of your immediate attention. It is important to not become too scattered so that you don't miss something important. Now it is important to realize that clear objectives are what is necessary to ensure a positive outcome.
