Tarot Wisdom: Nine of Cups
The banquet table is full, and the man in the picture sits before us looking happy and content. This card reminds us to enjoy all the bounty of life and to find pleasure in the simple things. This card also serves as a reminder however to not overindulge. We must learn to honor all experiences in life for what they have to offer us, even when times are difficult there is always still much to be thankful for. Don't allow fear or a need for comfort tp cause you to go beyond your means or engage in unhealthy behavior, moderation is key. Celebrate abundance. Return to Free Reading Page |

Nine of Cups 1st Position: A period of reconstruction and release, a "lucky break" after a period of struggle or uncertainty regarding health/material well-being. 2nd Position: You are struggling to keep the faith during a period of high stress. Although situations are looking up, it's hard to keep from feeling pessimistic at times. 3rd Position: Fear of loss or of not finding/maintaining happiness. Can also indicate a period of over-indulgence like overeating or drinking for emotional comfort. 4th Position: What looked like insurmountable is proving to be not nearly so difficult, however there is a tendency here to be distrustful or "on guard" for the next thing that could cause problems. Challenges become less challenging when we learn to accept them as a part of life, and when we realize that often our biggest blessings are born out of challenge. Instead of railing against the situation, take the best from it and show appreciation for all that you have been given. 5th Position: This card indicates that what once looked like a lost cause will likely turn in your favor. This is the card of "wishes granted" . Look for the hidden blessings in all things and you will always have a place of abundance to draw on, even in difficult times. This gives you an advantage that many others don't realize.
