Tarot Wisdom: Nine of Wands (Staffs)
In this card we see the man battered and tired, leaning on a staff. All the other staffs stand lined up behind him as he holds a defensive stance. This card tells us that life's challenges should not be allowed to overcome our spirit. When we focus on struggle we leave no room for peace. Take time to rest, heal yourself, and then continue to persue your goals. Setbacks should never stop us from persuing our dreams. Return to Free Reading Page |

Nine of Wands (Staffs) 1st Position: Focuses on strength, doing the best you can, stamina, and great faith. Standing your ground. recovery after a period of struggle or difficulty. 2nd Position: You need to see some improvements, health wise and family wise. Waiting to see results for your efforts, fatigue, not in the mood to deal with anymore stressful situations. 3rd Position: Impatience with having to wait, distrust of someone close who you feel is hiding or concealing something. This sense of distrust makes it difficult for you to relax and find peace. There is a sense of constant tension/anxiety. 4th Position: Don't allow yourself to be defeated. If you fall stand up and try it again. Remember the old story about falling off the horse, .. pick yourself up , dust yourself off, get back up there and continue to ride. Sometimes we have to do things our own way, and it is scary when we feel we have noone to lean on , but you are stronger than you think and lifes challenges allow us to receive and better appreciate the rewards. 5th Position: Stay focused on your goal and continue putting forth the effort needed to guarantee a succesful outcome. Don't allow minor setbacks to cause you to lose your incentive.
