The boy studies the staff in his hand intently, looking to the greenery on it, for a sense of newness and adventure. This card reminds us to breathe new life into our circumstances. Consciously seek new meaning and purpose and apply it to all of your endeavors. By remaining passionate and goal oriented we live life more passionately. Page of Wands (Staffs) 1st Position: Focuses on sexual energy, attraction, ideas and discussions, debate, desire to start over, boredom in marriage or work. Youthful spirit, adventurous. 2nd Position: You feel that things in your life are stagnant and you want to breathe new life into your present circumstances, or move onto something else entirely. 3rd Position: Disappointment or repressed desires. Feeling stuck out of a sense of obligation or inability to free yourself. Boredom or lack of energy. Wanting to find fulfillment but becoming restless. 4th Position: You need to look at life and try to attain a new perspective. Look to the adventure and lessons in all life's experiences. Even the seemingly mundane can be made more passionate and interesting through a new approach. Be willing to try things in new ways, or move into new areas. This is the card of the adventurous spirit. Boredom often has the same symptoms as depression, and can be a terrible energy zapper. 5th Position: Pursue interests and hobbies that keep you occupied and working towards your goals. Don't allow yourself to get sucked into apathy, keep making a conscious effort to work towards your dreams and spark your passion. Pour your youthful passion into creative endeavors or learning something new.
