Tarot Wisdom: Queen of Cups
In this card the Queen is adorned in white which represents purity of thought/emotion. In this state she easily taps into the inner wisdom and hidden knowledge represented by the chalice she holds in her hand. This queen sits before the still waters, able to calm the emotions and access that calm centered place where Divine guidance makes itself known to her in the stillness of her mind. Queen of Cups 1st Position: Home, family, and personal relationships are highlighted. Intuition, getting in touch with ones emotions. 2nd Position: Emotional difficulties may be causing you to question your path. Not trusting your intuition or intuition is impeded momentarily by emotional conflict and/or mindchatter. 3rd Position: Upheavals in the family environment, not seeing the whole picture, disappointments with people close to you, arguments. Inability to protect yourself or someone close to you, feelings of guilt or responsibility for something out of your control. 4th Position: There is a part of you that knows there is something bigger. We all have divine spirits full of unconditional love, it is life experience here that blinds us to it when we are caught up in our circumstances. Learn to look within and tap into your higher wisdom, your true spirit, and the Universe will open the doors to you. Keen intuition is a part of your life, learn to be still in the mind/emotions long enough to consult your inner wisdom. 5th Position: Learn to look at all sides of a situation before judging it, it is often in our lives that we look back on situations that appeared negative on the surface but later proved to be a blessing in disguise. If you are unsure as to which direction to take, be still and listen for your inner guidance. Often we ignore that inner wisdom only to look back and say "I knew I should have ....."
