In this card we see the queen sitting upon her throne. Behind her are greyish kind of drab skies, and before her is her familiar, her companion represented in the kitty cat before the throne. This queen is loving and affectionate. She aims to please and longs to receive love and attention in return. Generous and always giving of her time and resources, sometimes this queen gets so caught up in others she loses her own sense of identity. She reminds us that in self-fulfillment we are better able to draw others to us who respect our decisions and value our uniqueness. Being a strong rolemodel and example for others requires this queen to be confident and sure of herself first. We cannot give what we don't have. Return to Free Reading Page |

Queen of Wands (Staffs) 1st Position: The focus is on personal fulfillment and spiritual awareness also on relationships with others, inspiration, and self-care. 2nd Position: You are questioning potential and long term effects of relationships, as well as the way you relate to and care for yourself. 3rd Position: You sometimes feel like you will never be fulfilled. There is a need to find something fulfilling to do but you are unsure of where your "calling" is, or what your natural talents are. Overly dependant on the approval of others to define your sense of self-worth. 4th Position: Often we struggle with our own decisions out of a sense of self-consciousness or feelings of inadequacy. When we are unsure of our lifes mission or what we want to represent it can be easy to become entangled in other people, or in trying to "fit in" as opposed to expressing our indiviuality. Trying to be what others want you to be only leads to more disappointment. Self-acceptance and learning the value of the distinct offering you have to give to the world in necessary to move beyond these feelings of exclusion and disenchantment. 5th Position: Learn to listen to your instincts, Talk to your spirit guides/ guardian angels and ask them to help guide you. Let your options be gently pointed out to you knowing that you are never alone. You are being given many opportunities to be a leader in your own life and express your genuine self. Let your light shine and learn to love your unique gifts and allow others to come into your life who will love and respect you for your unique and special qualities.
