Tarot Wisdom: Six of Cups
In this card we see the older person sharing her cup with a child. Around them are the five other cups all filled with flowers. This indicates a coming together of tradition with new ideas, a blending and harmonizing of energies. This card reminds us to breathe new life into stalemeated endeavors, and also reminds us not to let the past determine our future. Six of Cups 1st Position: You are in a period of change, reevaluation of the past and deciding how to proceed now. This is a period where you are both the student and the teacher. 2nd Position: You are wanting to put the past behind you and move on with the future. Incorporating all of your past experience into a new venture 3rd Position: You are doubting your ability to be successful in a new endeavor . Questioning your decisions. Not being able to achieve your goals as quickly or easily as you had hoped. Past experiences may color your perception of current events. 4th Position: You tend to feel as though you are misunderstood or that you have a hard time getting your ideas across to people effectively. You need to remember that your individuality is a divine gift. Understand that fulfillment can come through many channels and God works in mysterious ways. When you seek to question why things are as they are, you block your connection to the Source. Relax and enjoy. Your fresh new ideas will meet with success. 5th Position: Learn to let go of struggling to figure out the right plan.. Letting things be as they are and go as they will is usually the best way to ensure success. Decisions have a strange way of making themselves when the time is right. Try to maintain balance between "logic" and 'intuition"
