In this card we see the man and woman exchaning ideas and sharing the chalices which represent collected wisdom/knowledge. The symbol above represents higher wisdom pouring itself down and becoming available to them when they work in the spirit of cooperation and trust. The man and woman in this card are symbolic of not only our relationships with others, but in maintaining balance within: mental/emotional balance and health, faith/hope in our self and our Divine connection. Two of Cups 1st Position: Communication, give and take, simple abundance, sharing. Emotional affinity between parties. Blessings, Healthy ventures and relationships, emotional/mental harmony and/or the search for it. 2nd Position: You need to get back into harmony with your life, repair or reconcile relationships with those who are estranged, and resolve inner conflicts. Learn to work according to what you know is for your highest good as opposed to merely what you think you want or need. 3rd Position: Worry over a relationship that may not be able to be resolved, disappointment in yourself for what you see as your role in hurting someone, - maybe even yourself. Communication breakdowns, accepting less than ideal treatment within a partnership due to fears of being alone or independent. 4th Position: Your distrust in yourself and your higher power keeps causing you to wander off of your chosen path. Learn to silence your distrustful thoughts and know that there is guidance available to you. Seek higher wisdom and work towards acheiving and maintaining mental/emotional balance in all of your relationships, including your relationship with yourself. 5th Position: Establish a link with Spirit and your Higher Self for times of crisis/confusion. Learning to trust yourself is the first step in learning to attract and develop trusting relationships with others.
